THE LAUNCH LIST

Privacy

Last updated

Pro Photo Restoration currently operates a landing page and launch-notification list while the restoration service is being developed.

This notice explains how the current site handles information. Joining the list is voluntary; you can browse without providing an email address.

What we collect

When you join the launch list, we store:

The signup database does not store IP addresses, browser user-agent strings or device fingerprints. The form has no photo-upload field or free-text message box.

Why we collect it

Your email address is collected so we can notify you when Pro Photo Restoration launches. This is a launch list, not a general newsletter. Automated email delivery is not yet enabled.

The optional interest selections help us understand what visitors would like restored. Arrival information and repeat submissions help us understand where interest in the service comes from. Consent and unsubscribe records help us manage the list.

Browser storage

After a successful signup, the site saves a small flag in this browser’s local storage to remember that it has joined the list. It contains only the value “true”, not your email address. It is used to show a returning-visitor message and is not used for behavioural advertising.

You can clear this flag through your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing it does not remove your server-side signup. If browser storage is blocked, signup can still work, but the browser may not remember it on your next visit.

Analytics and infrastructure

The landing page uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site traffic and page performance. Its automatically added beacon reports through this site’s /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint. The page does not include advertising pixels or external fonts.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the launch-list form to reduce automated and spam submissions. Cloudflare processes technical and browser signals to assess whether a submission appears legitimate. Our server checks the verification token with Cloudflare before accepting a signup. We do not save the token in browser storage or the launch-list database, or log it.

The public site is delivered through Cloudflare. Requests pass through its infrastructure, which handles connection and request information to deliver and protect the site. Public responses also enable network-error reporting: supporting browsers may send connection-failure reports to Cloudflare to help diagnose availability problems. See Cloudflare’s explanation of network-error reporting.

These infrastructure functions are separate from the launch-list database. This notice does not promise that every Cloudflare security response is cookie-free.

Our application server keeps access logs containing the connecting IP address (normally the upstream proxy for public visits), request method and path, response status and timing. Those access logs omit query strings, referrer headers and user-agent strings. Error logs may include connection or request details. Normal signup processing does not log submitted form bodies or email addresses.

Photos and restoration

The current site does not accept photograph uploads or perform photo restoration. The comparison images are illustrative, AI-generated examples, not customer photographs. We will update this notice before photo upload or restoration becomes available.

How long information is kept

Launch-list information is stored in a database on our application server, with access restricted to its operators. A daily local backup process keeps the seven most recent daily snapshots. Separately created manual snapshots or exports are not covered by that rotation.

No automatic deletion schedule has been implemented for the launch list. Information currently remains in the database as we operate the list and prepare the service. Marking an address unsubscribed records that choice; it does not erase the database record or existing backups. Retention practices will be reviewed as the service develops.

Your choices and contact

You can choose not to join the launch list. If you already have a direct way to contact the person operating Pro Photo Restoration, you can ask them to mark your address unsubscribed.

A public contact email and an automated unsubscribe link are not yet available on this site. Removal requests currently require direct contact with the operator; the site does not yet provide a way for visitors without that contact to submit a request.

Changes to this notice

We will revise this page as the site’s practices change, including before photo uploads and restoration launch. The date above shows when this notice was last updated.
